Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer
Lynne Stockstad is executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Optum. With more than 30 years as a global and strategic marketing professional, she leads the company's strategic brand, marketing and communication initiatives to engage key constituents across Optum business lines and customer audience segments.
Prior to joining Optum in 2014, Lynne served for 12 years in global leadership roles at Microsoft, spanning product management, product marketing, business development, enterprise marketing and public sector marketing. Prior to that, she held leadership roles at Great Plains Software, where she spent 15 years helping to build the organization from a small startup through a successful IPO and, later, acquisition by Microsoft.
Lynne has a BS in marketing from Minnesota State University, Moorhead. She currently serves on the Institute for Research in Marketing (IRM) Advisory Board.
