Gandhi leads the technology teams for clinical decision support initiative for Optum, serving the broad customer base of Optum and UnitedHealthcare.
He is excited to contribute to the efforts at Optum to build a product and platform-oriented technology organization and reduce care costs. Affordable, equitable, high-quality health care with easy access is now more critical than ever, and Gandhi believes that technology plays a major role in making this happen.
Gandhi has a strong background in software engineering and leadership roles that bring complex cross-functional teams together to achieve common objectives, bridging technology and businesses.
Gandhi comes with over 25 years of experience in leading product management, customer success, engineering and sales engineering (pre-sales) functions for cutting-edge technology platforms with teams spanning across multiple geographies.
He has held leadership roles in domains such as building distributed systems, middleware infrastructure and cloud-native platforms. His most recent role was leading the partner engineering team at Google for Google Pay.
