Jean Benson

Jean Benson, chief financial officer of Optum, and her finance teams work closely with business leaders to set strategy, drive financial accountability, improve overall cost position, support the development and execution of business plans, provide decision support and optimize the deployment of capital. Benson joined the organization in 2012 and has held various finance positions in Optum and UnitedHealthcare. Prior to this, Benson served in a number of executive positions at companies within the financial services industry and started her career in public accounting.

Benson holds a BS in accounting from the University of Minnesota.
