Lifting up persons with disabilities and the underserved

Samarthanam provides free education and residential facilities for children with disabilities. The organization offers scholarships, vocational training and skill development programs to foster self-reliance and social integration through education, skill development, healthcare and advocacy. 

Optum partners with Samarthanam to support and promote assistive technology awareness and distribute digital and non-digital devices to persons with disabilities. One notable achievement is the donation of a school bus, which has provided safe and accessible transportation for students with intellectual disabilities.
