Uma Ratnam Krishnan

Uma Ratnam Krishnan is the managing director of Optum Global Solutions (OGS), India. Across her career, she has taken on roles globally with the ability to shape and transform organizations. She is an inspiring leader, with a proven track record of transforming organizations across functions and geographies. 

Over the last 18 years, Uma has held several senior leadership roles in the UK and India across finance and commercial sectors like Barclays, Polaris, and ABN Amro/RBS.

At Optum, Uma oversees strategy, execution, delivery and governance in close partnership with clients, operations and advanced capability leaders. In this role, she sets the vision for our businesses across the country, helping our teams deliver distinctive business value internally, and drive best-in-class brand awareness externally.

Uma holds an MBA in finance and marketing from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore. She is passionate about inclusion and building a diverse workforce, where every team member can deliver their best work every day. Uma embraced diversity at the very start of her career as an Indian Diplomat in the Indian Foreign Services.
