Helping frontline healthcare workers travel more efficiently
Optum India, in partnership with United Way Bengaluru, has provided 45 e-bikes to primary health centers at the Bengaluru Rural Deputy Commissioner’s Office.
Designed to strengthen last-mile health care access, the initiative will help frontline healthcare workers travel more efficiently to remote and underserved communities.
The e-bikes will enhance mobility, enabling health care teams to expand outreach, improve responsiveness and connect more people with essential care services. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to building stronger community health systems and creating meaningful grassroots impact.
Guided by its vision to be a force for good in India, for India, Optum India continues to invest in initiatives that advance healthier and more connected communities.
